                   THE FLY IN THE LIVING ROOM
  Once upon a time there was a little fly who loved to explore. However, he had a one-track mind and this made for a dangerous combination. One bright and beautiful day he was buzzing about and followed some people into their home. It wasn't as nice as outside, so he decided to leave through the window..which was closed. Of course, he didn't understand that, he just knew he could see what he wanted and went toward it. Over and over, he hit the window. More than anything, the little fly wanted to leave where he was. The goal was visible, his desire was strong, yet nothing happened. The fly would have to change strategy or die doing the same thing, over and over....so he just kept doing what he knew...after all, he was just a fly.                (the story doesn't end well.....)

Like that determined fly, we say the same things over and over (with meaning!) day after day and wonder why nothing changes, why we can't reach our goals.
