‘N’ is for Nina
Nina Insinna is an author, professional speaker and writer whose work has been published in local, national and international media. She has an extensive background in sales and marketing.
In 2006, Nina became involved with The Literacy Council of Sarasota (LCS). She worked as a volunteer, tutor, board member and recently completed a 2-year term as President. LCS is a 501c3 non-profit organization which provides one-on-one tutoring to local parents and other adults who want to improve their reading and writing skills. If you're reading this you were likely fortunate enough to be raised in a home where the love of reading was encouraged. As a parent, she passed on that love and encouragement to her daughters and hopes to instill the same in parents and other adults in her community.

She's a long standing member of Toastmasters International and served two terms as president of Toastmasters 6026. She is also a member of the American Society for Trainers and Developers, Women on the Move, ABWA, and SBPHC, a local environmental group.

Nina is a certified instructor of English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), teaching students and adults in the workplace. She has much empathy for her students after living several months in Costa Rica learning Spanish. She knows well the meaning of immersion!

 'J' is for Jeff
USCG Master Captain Jeff Stephens is all about boats. While other kids were taking their bikes to school – at age 11 Jeff took his boat. He has since chartered the islands, and been at the helm in all kinds of weather on all kinds of boats, including the only Floating Chapel in the Western Hemisphere www.floatingchapelonthebay.com

Sailing is how he learned to work with mother ocean’s wind and current. His sailing experience has enhanced his skills for boats of all types.
In his previous life, Captain Jeff was a corporate businessman and his life was all about all things automotive. He literally grew up in all phases of the industry in the family business. Back in the day he even had his own race car, traveling to regional race events throughout the southeast.

Now he pursues his true love  - boating. Currently he is the captain of Idylwild, a 41’Maincat docked at Twin Dolphin Marina during the week. Idylwild travels to historical Cortez, FL on the weekends and docks at the Seafood Shack for easy access to Egmont Key, a popular snorkel adventure daytrip that includes lunch. Captain Jeff brought Idylwild back to her home on the Gulf Coast after spending 2010 in Key West, where literally thousands of satisfied customers shared lifetime memories on Facebook.

He also owns Island Pearl, a 65 passenger ferryboat available for resort/restaurant pick ups and excursions in and around Anna Maria Island. Like her on Facebook!

Whatever your nautical needs, Captain Jeff will see to them with day sails, sunsets and/or private charters. Visit www.kathleend.net or  www.idylwild.net for pricing and reservation information.

Captain Jeff is a Sea School instructor, helping future captains to reach their dreams.

He's also captain/owner of a classic 33 Bertram Now and Then (see photo), which he re-powered with diesel engines.

Reserve some time with the captain. Available for:

·         Local charters

·         International charters

·         Deliveries

·          Private boating lessons
